The weather for the drag racing was perfect, nice dry day with a cool crisp breeze, unfortunately the timing gear decided to spoil our bit of fun as there was a technical fault with it that could not be repaired on the day. Disappointing, but hell these things happen and rather than letting it ruin the day, we took the R32 off the truck and said we’d blow some of the cobwebs out of it none the less!

We traveled 600Kms round trip, for what was suppose to be a spectacular day, needless to say we weren’t let down! Spectators from all over the country traveled to see the Irish Open Drag Championship, young and old alike.
Some amazing cars and bikes went up the drag strip all day. Records were set and records were broken. Read more…
